We're home!

We made it home on Saturday, with no trouble at all! The flights were good and Ryland behaved most of the time.

We had such a great time with our friends and it was hard leaving, but I'm glad to be home.

I'll probably won't be posting for awhile because my computer needs to be fixed. I have some virus or something. Hopefully, it won't take long before I get it back.

Houston....we have NO problem....

We made it here to Houston safely!! Thank you Lord for keeping me sane! Our flights were really smooth and Ryland did really good. He wasn't too loud on the planes. We have really enjoyed being here visiting with our friends, Chad and Lori. Ryland is having a ball and loves all the toys to play with.

Thank you to all who prayed for me. God definitely answered your prayers!

Please pray for us as we come home this Saturday!!!!

Here we go....

This is my last post until I get back. We leave early, early tomorrow morning and we are flying out of Augusta. For those who have prayed for my anxiety, thank you so much! I am feeling better, not ALL better, but better. Please continue to pray for us. I will be praying protection as soon as I see the plane we will be flying on.

Until next week.....

Honesty...

I don't know how many people read my blog, but I feel like it would do me good to be real tonight, raw to an extent. At least I can get it out of my mind for a little while.

I ask for your prayers for this next week. James, Ryland and I are flying to Houston for a work thing for James and to visit dear friends that live right outside of Houston. We fly out early Saturday morning and ya'll....I am scared to death! I have put it out of my mind for the last 2 months and now it's 2 days away. I have only flown 3 times before and never with a child. I have been having anxiety attacks about all kinds of scenerios this whole week. I don't know if you have ever had an anxiety attack, but it's horrible!

I know that this spirit of fear is not of God and I have been fighting Satan and asking God to give me peace. I have come to the conclusion that I have NO control over this situation and I am going to have to put my life in God's hands and ask him to protect me. Crazy thing is, I don't have control anyway...why do I think I do? I think sometimes I forget that it's not my life anymore, it's God's. When my feet are on the ground, it's alot easier to be relaxed than flying 40,000+ feet in the air. This is where my faith is really tested.

Anyway....all that to say, please, please pray for me, James and Ryland as we fly from here to Atlanta and Atlanta to Houston. Ryland doesn't like sitting for long. I pray that he will sleep from Atl. to Houston.

Ok....there is it...one of my fears revealed for all to see....

Make Up Monday

My sister/bro in law/nephews were in town this week. Erik had to work in Charlotte and Ash stayed at mom's with the boys. They are so sweet and I enjoyed them so much. They moved to Idaho almost two years ago and the last time we saw them was last December. I had so much fun with them. Christian is 4.5 and Tyler is 2. What little sweeties. We spent everyday together and almost every evening. They left Friday and I wanted to cry. I wish they didn't live so far from us.

Here are some pics of the week. We went to Chuck E. Cheese with Ashley/Tyler/Christian and my brother Daniel/Marianne/Carson and Jonathan. Ryland had a great time! I thought he would hate the mouse, but he ended up loving it and kicking and screaming as we left. He wanted "mou"!!!!

Thankful Thursday

I am sooooo thankful for my new QUIET dishwasher!!! James installed it Tuesday and I love loading the dishwasher... I know that will last all of about a week. After 3 months of manually washing the dishes, James took the DW apart and decided it needed to be replaced. I told James I don't care about the bells and whistles, I just wanted a quiet one. And that's what I got. Yea Hyders! (it's bad when you get excited about a dishwasher)

I am also thankful for this weather. Cooler weather is wonderful to me.

I'm thankful that I'm done with my bible study and I went all weeks except one.

I am thankful my sister and nephews are in town...I've enjoyed them so much.

I'm thankful that the Mary Kay lady didn't say anything to me when I ran into her at Walmart looking like I did.

Happy Thankful Thursday!
